| Sorina
Tibacov, born on 8.02.1961 in Birlad, in a family that had already
had three generations of artists, grows up among his father's paintings
and understands very early that art is her destiny. In the fifth grade
she takes an examen at the art scool from Birlad where she enters
the first.In the 9 th grade she is the third who passes the entrance
exam for the Art Highschool in Iasi. After going throwgh the sections:
tapestry, graphic arts and monumental painting, she chooses the last
one and during the following three years of highschool she learns
the tehniques of monumental art, modeling clay with great pleasure
in the same time.She enters the faculty in1980, being the second from
150 candidates. Here,at the Art Institute from Iasi, she studies painting
with the painter Francisc Bartok and then with Dimitrie Gavrileanu,
until 1984. In 1985 she attends postgraduate courses of marketing.
She lives in Bucharest for a white, then she moves to Transsylvania
with her husband. At the beginning her painting starts from nature
and it gradually changes into abstract, touchist painting. |

Paintings made by the artist are found in
public and private collections in Romania.
The paintings can be seen in the, "Hundert
Art Gallery" Bad Soden Germany.
Although she paints with oil on canavas
with abstract compositions in the same time she, makes studies after
nature, drawings and aquarelles. "For me, colour is the greatest
adveture"
In the same time she works together with
her husband in his porcelaine manufacture, being familiar wit all
the stages of producing a porcelain object, and bringing inovations
making use of her knowledge of painting, totally lacking any complex
to a new technique.
"I like to experiment, to learn new things and any kind of
new material is a challenge for me".
She has works in private collections and in the state collections
of Romania.
